We investigate the effect of bureaucratic corruption on economic development when women are discriminated against in labor market. The analysis is based a dynamic general equilibrium model which capital accumulation drives development. government appoints bureaucrats to administer public policy. Corruption arises due opportunity for embezzle funds. In event detection and dismissal, private sector serves as bureaucrats' outside option. Our main results can be summarized follows: first, more gender-equal employer than sector, female less corrupt male; second, jointly determined allowing possibility poverty trap; third, policy increase participation potentially reduces fosters
